Just a few thoughts from a simple girl as I try to plan a wedding amidst the craziness of my life...

About Me

My photo
I am 25 year old getting ready for our nuptials on May 01, 2010. I am currently a graduate student majoring in Occupational Therapy. I love to write and I love weddings (well I used to). I thought it would be a great way to blend a few of my loves into a blog. Sit back and enjoy while I attempt to juggle planning a wedding on a budget while doing schoolwork. So let the madness begin!!

More unexpected wedding news...

Hello there!
I forgot to mention in my last post that one of my BM's called me because she is in grad school like me and has her clinicals coming up during the time of my wedding. Unfortunately she has no control over when has to go so she had to drop out of my wedding party. Its sad but at least she will still be at my wedding. I am sure she will be behind the scenes for every aspect of my day. I also added a junior bridesmaid, my cousin from Florida.
I am still waiting for the coordinator from my reception site to send the contract to me. According to her I was supposed to get it almost three weeks ago. I'm way over due to call her and ask what is up? Just been really distracted with my rotations the past three weeks. I am also about to send my contract for the church so hopefully I will get to cross something off my ultra long to do list. Sigh...

I saw some really cute stuff from Theknot.com today that I would like to share with you guys.
I like the concept of a caledebra holding flowers instead of the regular vase. It brings another element to the table, I think. I may try to add a few of these around my reception place.

I saw this and thought it was cute, add a little color to the serving platters for the drinks or hor doeuvres! A simple DIY project for the ambitious. I think I have enough DIY ambitions right now...lol...
A bientot!

So sorry that she had to drop out of the wedding party. Sounds like you figured it out though!
