Just a few thoughts from a simple girl as I try to plan a wedding amidst the craziness of my life...

About Me

My photo
I am 25 year old getting ready for our nuptials on May 01, 2010. I am currently a graduate student majoring in Occupational Therapy. I love to write and I love weddings (well I used to). I thought it would be a great way to blend a few of my loves into a blog. Sit back and enjoy while I attempt to juggle planning a wedding on a budget while doing schoolwork. So let the madness begin!!

Quick Update

Hello! I know I have been negligent in reporting the mundane details of my upcoming wedding but honestly, there has been nothing to report. I am finalizing my contracts with my reception and ceremony place and thats pretty much it. I have a long list of things on my to do list, it has just been difficult to do with school and being ill for a few days.
I went on Theknot.com and it said that I had a 160 days left til my wedding. Does that sound right to you? I am FREAKING out! That sounds way to close for everything that I have not even done yet. Plus today the parents are finally meeting. I had to say a special prayer that all goes well. I have no idea what to expect and I am trembling in anticipation.
This week I get to meet with the graphic designer who is designing my invites; hopefully she has something ready and I love it. Plus I have set some fire under my dad's buttocks so he can finalize his part of the guest list. They are taking forever. And I still have to go to David's Bridals and look at the dresses so that my bridal party can order them. I am such a procrastinator, but what can you do? Looking forward to Thanksgiving with my fiance and in-laws. Always have so much fun with them. If I don't get to say this later, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Oh and almost forgot, I had a photo session with the friend who may be my photographer and I was impressed with her. Not so impressed with myself, I need to get much more comfortable being in front of the camera. As corny and crazy as this may sound, I have been practicing my faces in the bathroom mirror. Lol. On that note, I'm out.
