Just a few thoughts from a simple girl as I try to plan a wedding amidst the craziness of my life...

About Me

My photo
I am 25 year old getting ready for our nuptials on May 01, 2010. I am currently a graduate student majoring in Occupational Therapy. I love to write and I love weddings (well I used to). I thought it would be a great way to blend a few of my loves into a blog. Sit back and enjoy while I attempt to juggle planning a wedding on a budget while doing schoolwork. So let the madness begin!!

Sushi Makes Everything Taste Better...

I was waiting in the Marriot lounge, reading a book, waiting for my fiance when something disturbing happened. Aside from the fact that I was unable to meet with my graphic designer, I've been having a pretty good day. I decided to call my father because both sets of parents met on Sunday and I wanted to play "nice" and get his perspective. BIG MISTAKE!!!!
Here is the recap from the parents' first meet:
1. They love each other...which is nice.
2. The food was good...not that I ever doubted my mom's cooking.
3. My father put the crazy ass notion in my in-laws head that the wedding should now be in Philadelphia because he cannot whittle down his part of the guest list. (Its not like the wedding is in 160 days or anything...)

Then I called today and he just made me angrier. I thought I was the one getting married but apparently I am just a side note in the real show that is starring the man that is my father. Ok I'm done venting. I've just had some shrimp tempura that my baby bought me adn I feel much better...for now. I will need lots of sushi to get through this wedding.
To be continued...
